I had a wheel bearing replaced. The service was good and the workers were friendly. However, after I got the receipt I looked up the part number listed. It was a Napa part and the Napa website listed it for $172. I was charged $335 for the part plus $112 for 1.4 hours of labor. I would expect the price for the part to be a little more expensive, but more than twice the listed price seems very excessive. Labor costs were $80 an hour, which seems reasonable, but I wouldn’t go back because of the exorbitant markup.

My experinece with Garvin and Lidster was awful. I had my starter go out and called them for a tow, i mentioned from the noises made it was most likely my starter, the next day they called and told me the battery was bad so they changed that. They charge a large premium on their parts, and two days after i got my car out of their shop my car died again. Sure enough it was my starter and they couldn't take a hint even when i was telling them. After the fact i asked if they would give me a discount for not catching the problem the first time rather, they charged me for another tow and put a large premium on the starter. TRASH COMPANY!

I'm on a fixed income. I took my car there and not only did they get me in quickly, I didnt have to leave the car. They fixed the problem and the price was great. Very affordable. I will continue to patronize their business, if needed. Thank you.

I've been here a couple of times, and have always be happy with the service. Needed to fix my power steering leak, and Midas immediately suggested to replace the power steering pump and quoted $800. Garvin and Lidster did an actual inspection to determine the issue and quoted me $250 to replace the hoses. Job was done, leak is gone, and they checked some other things with the vehicle.

Very happy to hear that we were able to make another customer happy and SAVE THEM SOME HARD EARNED MONEY. Here at Garvin & Lidster we don't guess at the big jobs that pay alot, we know your counting on us to find the problem the first time so we take the time to diagnose them properly and then repair them with only the parts they really need. Thank you for your business as well as taking the time out of your day to let us and everyone else know how we are doing, it means alot to hear from our customers. Garvin & Lidster has given us outstanding prompt service for several years. They have trained, qualified mechanics and great customer service. I was concerned when the new owner took over, but the mechanics stayed on and now there are friendly front desk personnel as well. I have recommended them to friends who are also pleased. G&L staff go out of their way to be helpful and get the job done right.

They do a fine job fixing our cars. Easy overnight dropoff
