I am a senior female and this is my go to mechanic. Friendly, honest, reliable and reasonable.

Garvin and Lidster has a legacy of good work that they've continued for decades. They do high quality work, they let you know ahead of time if something might end up super expensive, and they work hard to earn your repeat business. Recently, they've included a thing where they can send you an invoice through a text message, so you can pay over the phone. This is great, so we can have it already taken care of and can just pick up the vehicle when it's convenient, not just during business hours. Over the years, I'll admit there have been a couple times (VERY few and far between) where an issue wasn't resolved as completely as it should have been, but when I called them and let them know, they had me drop the vehicle back off and made it right without any extra charge added. They do good work, but that integrity and honesty are the bigger reasons I keep coming back and giving them repeat business.

Great service, good prices, knowledgeable staff

My vehicle broke down in Brazil Indiana. They got me in first thing the next morning. They took a bit to diagnose the issue on my 2016 vehicle, but figured it out and had me back on the road in the early afternoon. Good service with a fair price. Highly recommend their services.

Quick fast and friendly

I realized Friday morning the weekend of the 4th of July that I had a serious problem going on with my brakes. Garvin and Lidster got me in and out that same day and the cost was very affordable

I was on a road trip when my Radiator blew, they were able to get me in immediately and replace my radiator and thermostat withing a few hours all for less than expected cost. Very good mechanics and kind people.

One of the best Auto shops in town. Services wasn’t overpriced compared to other mechanics in Terre Haute. They try to get you in and out in the same day. It’s my preferred place to go, if Kevin’s auto is too busy.
